Convert any audio file in MP3 on Ubunut 15.10 ( fedora , redhat , centos , linux )

Through sound Convert on ubuntu we convert any audio format on MP3. SoundConverter is a simple sound converter application for the GNOME environment. It reads sound files in any format supported by GStreamer and outputs them in Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, or WAV format, or MP3 format if you have the GStreamer LAME plugin.

Installing process of sound converter 
 open Ubuntu software center - type Sound convert - click install 


 Open Sound converter



Add audio file and click on convert button




You can see in same folder , you get converted file on MP3 format .

Through terminator you can run multiple terminal on single terminal , for running command & monitoring purpose . Follow the steps to install terminator on ubuntu all version .Open ubuntu software center - find Terminator - click on install  . follow the screen shots .








In last screen we see that , we are running multiple session on single terminal .

How to enable root login through GUI on 17.10?

 we need to change 2 files in our ubunut 17.10. Plz Follw the steps

 

Open the terminal , and type

sudo vim /etc/gdm3/custom.conf
Under  [security] type  AllowRoot=true

So that it looks like
 
[security]
AllowRoot=true
 
Save and exit.
Then run
 
sudo vim /etc/pam.d/gdm-password
Within this file you have comment out the line containing
auth required pam_succeed_if.so user != root quiet_success

so that it looks like this
 
#auth required pam_succeed_if.so user != root quiet_success

Save the file and exit and reboot.

Download VMware Workstaion 12 from Vmware site or purchase 

Open the terminal on ubuntu 16.04 

Change the permission VMware-Workstation-Full-12.0.1-3160714.x86_64.bundle

# sudo chmod 777  VMware-Workstation-Full-12.0.1-3160714.x86_64.bundle
Follow the screenshots 


# sudo ./VMware-Workstation-Full-12.0.1-3160714.x86_64.bundle
















Now, VMware-Workstation-Full-12.0.1 is installed successfully

Enable root user Desktop view on Ubuntu 16.04 

Open the "Terminal" 

Login through "root" user



Put this command on terminal 

# sudo sh -c 'echo "greeter-show-manual-login=true" >> /usr/share/lightdm/lightdm.conf.d/50-ubuntu.conf'



# init 6  ( reboot your system ) 

After rebooted your system , you can also login through root user
